Just because they don't have the option to switch doesn't mean that they don't accept transsexuals. It was simply something that wasn't thought about when the site was created.



I bet the Wii U would sell more than 15M LTD by the end of 2015. He bet it would sell less. I lost.

I was responding to that 1 user saying how people are rude for actually using biology to determine what makes someone a male and female. I wasnt responding to OP directly.

And this thread was created to get the site admin(s) to consider the option. It's frankly disgusting that the suggestion has been met with such animosity.

This is definitely the best thing. Whenever I am required to fill out a form in person, I handle the "gender" and "sexual orientation" parts by holding my pen all fist-like, as though I was a child who knows not such complicated folly, and obscure the (often binary) options with destructive scribbles, accompanied by a polite "I am an equal-opportunites candidate" sideline.

You want transsexuals to feel accepted here but then hurl around terms that most women would be offended by. No wonder there aren't many female users on this site.

Nice counterpoint. You're arguing for a change on this website so that transsexuals don't feel like they don't belong. So, you're arguing for the acceptance of transsexuals, are you not? Do you disagree with that statement? If you do disagree, then I'm really curious as to what you're arguing for.
