Alright. This will be an easy win. I can see it doing like 400k though

What? Seece said it's going to ship 1.6m or more this quarter. Given that the tier 2 launches and Destiny all happen in September, at the very least a third of those units will have to sell in September. (The stock that retailers have in store should be about the same at the end of calendar quarter 2 and 3, so 1.5m units is about what the Xbox One will sell through this quarter.)

1.6m+ in the July-Sept quarter?? I would be really surprised...

Actually I estimate 1m- 1.2m~ sell through this Q, bring it to around 6.2m sold and 7m on shelves.

I guess they have to ship all the systems out to the countries. Doesn't mean they will sell.

By 2015,
its likely that the Wii U will be ~1mill ahead
or more or less equal if overtracking on Wii U is true

Holiday Sales for the 2, going off what another user said.
2 mill for Wii U
2.9 for XB1

Its very likely that the holiday sales for both will exceed the rest of the months.
1.5 YTD Wii U
2 YTD XB1

so likely we are looking at holiday sales of
3 mill WIi U
4 mill XB1
Which not only exceeds the year, but their previous holiday performance, so if they fall below these numbers in holiday sales, there is a serious problem with the consoles performance.

including that in totals we get
7 + 3 = 10
5 + 4 = 9

or if overtracked, where overtracking can't exceed a million units
6 + 3 = 9
which is equal

thus the gap can be anywhere from XB1 over Wii U by 100k to Wii U over XB1 by a million units by January
XB1 being ahead by a million by January is not likely however.

That would still make September a 500k+ sell-through month, wouldn't it? July was slow while August had at least Madden.

In any case, September sales are all that really matters.

Of course, max July/August will amount too is 500k.

I think you're way too optimistic. Super Smash Bros will push Wii U's sales considerably by the end of the year, Xbox One has nothing to match that, essentially because games like Destiny, CoD, and GTA V are also coming to PS4. Not to mention that the Fifa bundles are not going to work either since PS4 is way stronger in Europe. Xbox One's release in Japan will not add a significant amount of sales to the system.

I actually expect the gap between Wii U and Xbox One to increase by the end of the year.

Halo, Sunset > Titanfall and Plants vs Zombies?

Don't get what I mean? That's because you're not making sense.

Do you expect Sunset Overdrive to push the system sales? Now that's non sense. Maybe The Master Chief Collection will do it, but since it's an HD Collection of previous games, I don't think it will have the same impact as Super Smash Bros.

No no, my point is you think MS first party is better at pushing system sales than Nintendo's is.
