Ok, where's the poll? :/
Anyway, the 360 won.
The 7th gen is the only one that I can fairly call a tie between all three.
Numbers never lie statiscally Xbox 360 sold more games , higher attach rate, and greater income due to live paywall.
I not gonna make comments like oh they care about me more then "x" and they had the best games...all that is just an opinion
xbox 360 was a victory for Microsoft. They got all the third party multiplat titles pretty much. I think ps3 is the overall winner with the best games and sales, but 360 basically put Xbox on people's radar as a main contender instead of a side console like the Wii U.
Wow, how hilariously one-sided and biased. I have no idea how you think the 360 was more innovative than the PS3. Literally, you said a bunch of nothing on that part.
In the end though, I will say 360 because it gained a lot of ground during that gen. PS2 vs Xbox was no comparison but on the 7th gen, MS took every opportunity available and really made Xbox a powerful brand...until the giant fuck up with the Xbox One reveal. However, the PS3 comeback was real and worth mentioning. Despite being destroyed early on, Sony found its groove back and gave us some of the best games of the generation, in their respective genres.
I personally prefer the PS3 obviously, from design to games and the wonderful conception of PS+ but profit and brand "Expansion" wise, I think Xbox 360 beat the PS3, hands down.
Trying to be objective, the first half belonged to Microsoft and second half belonged to Sony. However, that is from a games perspective. Financially Microsoft did much better and made huge strides in market share that Sony lost out on big time.
The future? Sony has a 99% chance of the PS4 outselling the X1 world wide. In the US it could still be close, but I give the edge to Sony there as well. 2015 will be very interesting with so many heavy hitters coming out.

By numbers PS3(which will sell long after the 360 is off the shelves). MS won big in marketshare which will actually carry over to this gen(though some will go back to Sony). MS also made a boatload more money with Gold. MS is the bigger winner in my eyes.
Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.
Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

Sony proved with the PS3 they can give it their all and get back on their feet against the hardest hardships, they ended up investing in games, games, and games. It carried over to the PS4 and that's why they're steamrolling the Xbone now.
Microsoft proved with the 360 they can buy third parties to make it seem like the have exclusive games and build a reputation on it, crippling the PS3, an already cripple console in its beginnings. They never cared about investing on studios and a robust IP catalog, they instead invested the last 4 years of the 360 on KINECT and going after the masses. It carried over to the Xbone, and that's why they're getting steamrolled by the PS4.
So who won? It's pretty clear it was not the Xbox 360.
360 probably, they gained a ton of marketshare while Sony lost half their audience.
Sigs are dumb. And so are you!
