And VGC is critized for 'total unreliabla numbers'. If Hyrule made 69K or 78K, that's quite some difference.

I'm pretty sure Hyrule Warriors will be bigger in the US than in Japan. Maybe not first week but lifetime sales yes.

For me even first week.
But the Wii U boost will be less than in Japan.
Now that I look at again, its only counting the 3 days of tracking. so the 70k number looks more decent now basd off those 3 days(14,15,16)

Maybe Hyrule Warriors can hit 700k WW ... 180k in Japan, 280k in North America, 125k in Europe perhaps.
Wii U is just such a sales suck, lol. Oh well, some boost is better than no boost.
I don't think Bayonetta 2 does much better than a 50k first week in Japan sadly.
I didn't expect much from the musou title in its first week in Japan but I did expect more than ~75k. Then again, it may do better given the fact that it was only three on the market and I had heard the first couple of days were oddly slow on the uptake.

Zelda is a whole lot more popular in America than it is in Japan.

I know. I still predict similar or worse numbers.

Pikmin 3- 96k The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD- 31k Wii Party U- 76k Super Mario 3D World- 102k Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze- 38k Mario Kart 8- 334k Hyrule Warriors- 64k (based on the 69k and 79k) See its not that bad. If you take off Mario Kart 8, it looks very good Btw i was expecting 25k Wii U sales but 18k is good |
Of all of the above titles Hyrule W seems like the one that would be the most front loaded, obviously time may prove otherwise...
This list kinda reaffirms that most of Nintendo's first party titles flopped in Japan this era.

Every game has a similar amount of days on the market for its first week. What day it was released usually has little effect on FW sales.
