Did insiderp tell you that? You say it was obvious but you have no proof. No insider information. Because you know if it wasn't planed before the release then you have no leg to stand on. And you have no evidence of that primary claim.

It's common sense. It takes longer than 3 months for a game to go from first being concieved to hitting store shelves.

Whose common sense is that? Unless you're a developer, you are have no idea how long development periods are and are just guessing. Development periods vary based on team size the scale of the project, the platforms its on, whether or not it has a fanbase, their are a variety of factors involved.
Ludum Dare for instance is a game making competition in where the participants have 24 hours to make a game.

Not to mention, TLOU:RE released 8 months, and 15 days after the PS4 in North America, announced 4 months after the PS4 launched.

You seriously think TLOU wasn't planned prior to its April announcement?

Anyway, we're going in circles on this. How about another anti-consumer move; making PSN a paid subscription service when it was originally free.

Without any evidence you can say anything.

How do I know you are just making up this suspective dev time so you can spin it as anti consumer? Not to mention PSN is still completely free. Only some of PS4's multiplayer utilizes PS+, none of the other network features require it, and only multiplayer in certain games utilize it, typically those with Sony's own servers.

CIP, PSN is completely unchanged. PS4's multiplayer was never included in PSN so to say they made PSN a paid service displays obvious ignorance because its a complete lie

How do I know you're not spinning it to defend Sony?

Charging for PSN in any capacity is anti-consumer. We already pay for our internet.

Well thats simply because the burden of proof is on you, you made a claim and I'm asking for evidence, I don't need to provide evidence if I'm just calling out that you have no basis.

Not to mention my defense could apply to any game developer in the industry.

You are changing goalposts btw, PS+ is a service, people paying for goods and services is the very basis of consumerism. Free Services like PS+ are a previlege not a right, and really you pay for it through the purchase of hardware.

Hell if you want to make that kind of faulty reasoning, paying for internet is anticonsumer because you already pay for electricity.

It's common sense that a game takes more than 3 months from conception to store shelves. I don't need proof for that any more than I need proof that the earth isn't flat.

Nintendo doesn't charge for online. Sony didn't initially either. Now they're decided to gouge consumers for more money. It's anti-consumer.

Your ignorance is pretty appauling to say the least, you need to research before you continue this any further.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PlayStation_Network#PlayStation_Plus

FYI, PS+ started in 2010, Nintendo has no equivalent to PS+.

Furthermore, unless you are game developer it is not common sense, you are just guessing. Just like cab drivers don't figure out how to do tripple bypass surgery because of "Common Sense" if anything in game development was "Common Sense" it wouldn't require any more education then "common sense"

Lastly, you do need proof that the earth is not flat, you weren't born knowning this fact, someone had to tell you because someone proved it with Evidence, without evidence saying the world is flat is just as valid as saying the world is round, its all nonsense.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/learningzone/clips/how-do-we-know-the-earth-is-spherical/2457.html

Not to mention, if you can't simply explain how you know this 3 month thing is fact, despite being utter crap because development time varies with games being made in a matter of hours versus 10 years or more, then how is it common sense? Sense implies rationale, reasoning, reasoning requires evidence, without evidence you're just telling me the Earth is flat.

If you think a game like TLOUR goes from "hey I have a great idea" to sitting on store shelves in 3 months, I'd venure that perhaps you are the one who's not familiar with how the industry operates.

Charging users for a service that should be free is anti-consumer. PS+'s features should have been incorporated into the existing PSN infrastructure without slapping an extra price tag on it. It's a cash grab.

It doesn't matter what I think because I have no evidence on what Naughty Dog did to develop that remake, at the same time neither are you. And you are completely disregarding the fact that it was requested after the PS4 release, by fans, and by those who didn't play the game beforehand. Nobody forced anyone to buy the game twice. And Sony didn't force the rest of us to have crappier hardware and or pay a higher price because some people wanted backwards compatibility.

Charging users for a service that should be free is anti-consumer. PS+'s features should have been incorporated into the existing PSN infrastructure without slapping an extra price tag on it. It's a cash grab.

And why exactly do you believe that you are entitled to PS+? Why should PS+, which as always been a premium service on top of PSN now be free? Not to mention, you're just biased unless you ask this of all of the big 3, especially Nintendo and Microsoft which are much healthier companies financially.

You know what, "Charging users for a service that should be free is anti-consumer." this has got to be the most asinine statement I have ever read on the internet.

There is no such thing as a free service.

Games take more than 3 months to go from idea to released copy in this day and age, even remasters. That's not speculation, that's common knowledge. So Sony held off on telling people it was coming to PS4 to sell more PS3 copies and get more double dips.

And demand the same of all the big 3. If Nintendo announced tomorrow they were making their online service a paid one, I would criticise them and label it an anti-consumer move.

All you do is dance around the question. IF ITS COMMON SENSE, THEN EXPLAIN IT, IT SHOULD BE EASY TO EXPLAIN. WHERE IS YOUR PROOF, YOUR EVIDENCE, YOUR EXPERIENCE?

You say its common sense. And I say its not, where is your proof to back it up. Until you give me that, you can't even begin to argue your point.

And demand the same of all the big 3. If Nintendo announced tomorrow they were making their online service a paid one, I would criticise them and label it an anti-consumer move.

First of all there is no such thing as a free service, you are just paying for it in a different way, Second of all PS+ was never free, at all, ever, so saying it was made a paid service is a blatant flat out lie.

I don't know how else to tell you that you're just wrong.

"Common Sense" is not a substitute for evidence, you have no evidence, so you have no back up for your claim. I can say TLOU:RE took 2 weeks to make and you can throw out common sense all you want, but it won't prove anything because I can say common sense too and you can't even show how common sense doesn't say I'm right.

The only reason you're calling PS+ being a paid service, Anti-Consumer is because of Sony. You completely ignore, Hulu Plus, Xbox Live, Gamefly, Cable Programming, Subscription MMOs, Syndicated Network Online services, really any kind of service in existence. You all pay for it, to say PS+ is anticonsumer because you pay for it is just the ramblings of someone who doesn't know how the world works and is just trying to find a legitimate reason to voice their irrational dislike of a company's product.

If you hate Sony and believe they're are anticonsumer, that's fine I won't try to convince you otherwise because irrationality is irrational, but don't try to pretend that any of your "reasoning" makes any kind of logical or even common sense.

If you are unfamiliar with the process of game development, that doesn't invalidate common knowledge among those who are familiar with it.

And I did not ignore Xbox Live et al, they were simply not under discussion. I do think Xbox Live is anti-consumer, by the way.

As for being irrational, I'm not the one resorting to personal attacks in defence of a corporation.
