Galaxy. Much better game overall and my favorite game of all time. Add a nice coop mode, a few more levels emphasizing exporation, and you're golden.

As others have said, 64-2 or something completely new would be preferable to either.

And as far as the Mario goes I felt the 3D Land/World series was an interesting new take on the series.

I think I would try a new sunshine, or even an HD remake. Maybe Super Mario Sunshine 3D.



 Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.

Of these two choices (I'd pick 64 2 if I could), I'd pick Super Mario Sunshine 2. Galaxy was great, but too linear for my taste...at least as far as replayability. A Sunshine sequel or remaster could also look amazing on Wii U with that high saturation lighting they used for Wind Waker HD and Cheep Cheep Beach in MK8. It really made it feel like you were in a tropical environment, which is exactly what Sunshine calls for.

G3 for me, sunshine was a bad mario game. i remember the shadow mario levels errr frustrating having to wash away the paint. the galaxy games are for me the best mario games ever. but would rather have a new 3d mario
