Sunshine 2 for me. I loved that game. At the time I thought that water pack was one of the coolest thing in gaming. And I loved flying Mario around in it and doing all the crazy water vacation based missions. I just know now if they made it it would even have you doubters loving it. Galaxy is great but I want Fluud back and not just in smash bros.

I do not understand the dislike for Sunshine. Galaxy is straight levels - you do them and then your finished with it, more or less. In Sunshine there was so much to explore, I used to just run around for the fun of it. The F.L.U.D.D. could be used to go high up in the air or fast across the water. As I am a Chibi-Robo fan I liked to clean up the city with the F.L.U.D.D.

Exploring isn't much of a plus when the world is so monotonous and tepid.

Well it was more than ten years ago that I played it but I do not remember it as monotonous. I missed the F.L.U.D.D. in galaxy as it opened up for hidden areas.

For me:

Sunshine = fun, running around aimlessly.

Galaxy = onwards to the next level...and the next.

See, running around aimlessly is only fun to me if the world I'm exploring is interesting and has lots to do. Sunshine didn't fit that bill, in my view.

Sunshine was trash, one of the only platforming games that I could never finish. That being said, if Nintendo made many improvements they could turn it into a great experience. That being said, why bother when Galaxy already is a great experience?

Neither, Super Mario RPG 2 please.

As the poll is almost evenlly split in half for Galaxy and half for Sunshine it seems we somehow ended up in opposite corners. I do love Galaxy and would buy another iteration, but my rose-tinted ten year old memoris of Sunshine makes me want more of that.

Another Mario game that sadly won't ever happen! The original is  such a fun and charming JRPG!

... Yikes. MG3. Sunshine was trash. MG wasn't much better... I want 64 2.

Ask stefl1504 for a sig, even if you don't need one.

Neither. Both of them have been done. I want something else.

I loved Sunshine but making a secondone wouldn't make much sense now. I'd like tos ee them finish a Mario trilogy other than the OG 3 though
