Nintendo pays Square for an exclusive remake of FF7 and then the Wii U goes flying off the shelves. :p Jk. I bet that would never happen...if it does get remade I very very highly doubt it would be for a Nintendo system.

While I'd love to see the internet rage if that were to occur, I'd rather they remade FFVI for WIi U. While FFIV is my favorite, it was already remade on DS. FFVI has never had a proper remake. It is superior to FFVII in everyway.

you have an interesting definition for "ignored".

It sold pretty poorly for a mainline Zelda title. People generally act like it doesn't exist when talking about the series.

Games sell poorly when coming near the end of the console. Look at Majora's Mask. Surely, that isnt also an ignored Zelda. I see people talk about SS all the time.

I would have to agree with you on both the would love to see the internet rage thing and that 6 would be a better choice to remake thing, if there was going to be one for the Wii U. Especially since 6 was actually released on a Nintendo system.
