Aaah, back from the beach. Can't say I cooled off there, because it's 40 degrees outside and the sea is at least 28 (Celsius), but took a much needed break from this story and this thread. Was planning to read, but too much has been written, and a wonderful The Order trailer came up.

Short: If it's only timed exclusive, great, I'll buy it on PS4.
If it's full exclusive, screw them all, there are sure to be many more games to replace it.

Hmmmm... If this gen is anything like last gen than it will be a timed exclusive. I do not know why this would benefit Square-Enix unless they have been well paid because a huge chunk of the Tomb Raider audience was/is on Playstation. Played the last one on both 360 and PS3. Square lost my money.

I don't get why people are so upset over this.

Money has the biggest sway in this industry. If Microsoft payed for it to be exclusive then it's all fair game. Microsoft needs what it can get to to entice people into buying a XOne.

It's not like they are getting Destiny.

Hah! Uncharted isn't as big as you think. 1st party isn't even the reason for PS4's success.

Obviously Tomb Raider sold better on Sony platforms. But did you consider maybe MS paid a lot of money and/or Square Enix might need the money?

There is no way this is a permenant exclusive, it will come to PS4 probably in early 2016.  If I had to guess its only gonna be exclusive for a few months.  The series does not sell as well on Xbox and from a business point of view if Microsoft bought full exclusivity it would just end up being a huge loss.
