I'm very satisfied. After playing Infamous:SS at my brother's house, it's amazing how good the graphics are on the PS4. Especially with what that is pulling off while being 1080p and a solid 30+ FPS. If the PS4 can pull that off just a few months from release, just wait til we see Uncharted 4 and GOW4 in action.

I am more into gorgeous art styles than I am into high end graphics. So I am satisfied specially with a lot of Wii U games.

"I think it will be the HDS"-Me in regards to Nintendo's next handheld.

Anyone else tried TLOU:R with 30 fps locked? Trust me you won't care much for a few extra effects if you have experienced the difference with the unlocked(mostly 60 fps) gameplay.

No wow factor is a deal breaker... It's not bad, it's better than PS360, more or less on par with PC, I appreciate the better framerate and resolution. But I'm not satisfied.
It would have been good enough if we got a lot more games, styles, genres. I had some kind of hope that studios that already made investments for PS360 and PC, provided more power from PS4/X1, with easier to develop tools and console, and not a very higher rendering target could push more games, more genres, make a AAA easier to develop... but it's not the case. So, for the few games we get, it's not exciting.

Well... PS2 had crappy graphics. If you had a Xbox druing the 6th gen, you were already accustomed to graphics much better than PS2 offered.

Of course not, but if every game is on a level like ISS I can live with it for now. The 30fps are still awful but if they are perfectly locked it's almost not eye cancer inducing.

Other than a few games (Halo, Morrowind, etc), most Xbox games looked very similar to their PS2 counterparts. Going from GTA III to GTA IV was an astounding leap in visual quality, whether you played the Xbox or the PS2 version of the game.

Most games on Xbox looked similar to PS2 because they were designed for PS2. GTA games of that era were designed for the PS2's vastly inferior specs.

Games designed for Xbox or ported from PC to Xbox trounced the PS2 visually. I'm referring to games like Ninja Gaiden, Riddick, Doom 3, Half Life 2, Splinter Cell, Just Cause, etc.

Hence, the jump from PS2 to PS3 was more significant than Xbox to Xbox 360. The OG Xbox almost felt a generation ahead of PS2.

That's the point I'm trying to make though. Most games on Xbox were just PS2 ports. Very few took real advantage of the power. I agree though, there were games on both GC and Xbox that looked like they were in gen 6.5, not 6 (Halo, Morrowind, Metroid Prime, Ninja Gaiden, etc).

It's just that those games were relatively few.

I think people being unsatisfied with stuff like Bayonetta 2, Killzone Shadowfall and Ryse are ridiculous.
