Nobody put a gun to his head. If he is a veteran, with any sense of intelligence and experience, he should have known how pissy we gamers are and even thinking about saying something like that should have been a red flag. He represents a company and brand, sure, but he is his own damn man. Have some balls and admit to mistakes or answers questions outside of the script. Also, the original Xbox One policies and stuff was awful and he had no problem just spewing all that crooked philosophy of how this is the evolution of gaming, blah blah blah. Right there, I knew, he did not have the best intentions for gamers (aside from the supposed family sharing feature) I don't respect puppets and apparently, that's what you consider him to be. |
And as a gamer, you don't understand how companies especially American companies work, when he was working for Microsoft, he was not Don Mattrick, he was Microsoft Xbox. Nobody, not even the Head of the Division can simply make up what he wants and decide for the company that is bullshit.
Everything he said was planned out and agreed upon, If Mattrick publically disagreed with it, he'd be in a shit load of trouble right now, Microsoft would be suing him even if they made the Xbox 180. If you take your eyes off of Microsoft's Scapegoat for a second though, you notice, EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THE MICROSOFT EXECS where saying the exact same thing at the time, Hell look at last years E3

If their making PR, they are all puppets more or less, putting their own personality on the message that the company says, only with social media do u get a glimpse at their true thoughts and even that is controled most of the times.
