if you're going to negate teh RE ports why not do the same for the WIi U games that are also late ports. I only highlighted games that were late and didnt bring anything really different to WIi U version and no a map on the screen isnt really different.

Hang on now. Ducktales isnt really indie or is it crap. I see what you are saying though. I cant speak on Shovel Night.
GC had better 3rd party support, you all should be honest with that. It also has legit versions of those games. Wiiu got some old gen ports, remember GC was comparable to its comp wiiu is closer to last gen then PS4/X1.
So GC not only had more 3rd party games it had the better ones and current to its gen, wiiu has inferior ones less of them and many are old gen. Already in its second year no one is even bothering. And it has no sports games GC had for the most part all of them.
Realistically wiiu will never pass it, hd means ninty then selves are mush slower with games the price is to high and will be higher and no 3rd party support in sight.
Also just looking on Metacritic aggregates I feel Wii U remains in a weaker position than GC.

Wii U will get a few more before the end of the year. Indie/eShop or not matters, because they're lower budget and don't impact sales equally & Joe public doesn't see them as well as games on shelves.
Despite Wii U getting an extra sale from me (I didn't buy a GCN), I'm starting to doubt it'll ever manage to outsell GCN. Unless they finally give us a big price cut, by like $70 and an impressive number of big games. It's really impossible for me to grasp why they aren't making a massive, Skyrim-scale Pokemon game in which the GamePad would act as your PokeDex. There is no way they ever make a game that uses the controller in a better way.
Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

I doubt that's an optimistic result when I expect the Wii U to sell 16 million end-2015.
That's conservative if you think about the fact that I expect the Wii U to sell 11 million by end-2014.
