All PS3s are backwards compatible with PS1 games, and therefore RE2... (though somewhat redundant compared to the Dreamcast version), so this is technically false. I suppose you're right about the 360 though, at best they're stuck with RE4 which is still categorically mediocre.

And technically there is a version that can be played on Wii U, and a disc option at that.

Good. Plus nintendo systems arent good in terms power and third party games. If you are into first party games then nintendo makes some sense.

Defnitely true now but the GC packed a punch.

Specs-wise, yes. (I guess a lot of people underestimate the GC in that respect because of it's resemblance to a purple lunchbox and whatever lol) But Nintendo did mess up just about every other design aspect of the GC.

That said, I'm pretty sure the OP was trolling... or maybe just too young to remember the SNES.

This is completely stupid, Resident Evil needs a FULL REBOOT.

What are they going to do with this remake of an old remake? What about Resident Evil 2 and 3 which are still old as fùck?

And then after, who is going to care about a Resident Evil 8?
