So this is the first 60-70K of that undertracking going on with PS4.
Also, just by virtue of a complete tracking meltdown of 360, PS3 again in a comfortable lead for 2nd place.

I was reaally suspicious when VGC all of a sudden had the PS3 and 360 tied after adjusting its numbers a while back. It was too arbitrary and so obvious that VGC had no idea how much the PS3 and 360 sold. However, after seeing this, we can safely conclude that the PS3 is in 2nd place and not just barely.

Wow that is pretty bad....

360 must have been selling a lot in brazil... to make up for these numbers.

These numbers are amazing.

I don't think we can draw that conclusion.  The shipped numbers are a little hazy for both PS3 & 360 now but it's fairly safe to say that on the numbers reported by MS & Sony both consoles are around 84-85m.

My guess is that PS3 is towards the top end of that range and 360 towards the bottom but we can be fairly certain that the difference is still <1m units.

Unless you don't believe the financials from one or other company we can't get away from the overall numbers being very similar.

It does beg the question - where are the 360 sales coming from?

Anyway, this and VGC's overestimation of X1 numbers in the US leads me to believe that it has quite a few weeks to go before actually hitting the 5m mark. It's probably closer to 4.7m right now.

PS4 has probably surpassed 9m now.

The moment the PS4 outsells the X1 2:1 is closer than we thought.

Also, I don't think the X1 is gonna outsell the Wii U this year, at this rate.
