This is very true. Retailers are faster though, both of the Walmart stores near me have cut down the XB1 areas already. They used to have one case dedicated to XB1 games and one half case dedicated to the console. Now they've consolidated to a single case that is partially full of 360 and accessories as well (iow about half the shelf space as before). PS4 has grown a bit, vita shrank, U is bigger, Wii almost gone, ps360 the same except a couple extra rows in the former xb1 case. The endcap new game case also no longer has any X1 in it.

Well retailers really depend on good forecast to profit. VGC can let itself be wrong and adjust every NPD, shipping report etc. I don't know how much customers pay for the data and if they know the reliability of it.

What is worst is 1M overtrack on a real sales of 2.1M... that means 50% overtracking on LTD and that is massive.

Hahahaha no need for drama. The numbers aren't too much reliable but I don't think it is based on an agenda... Unless you think the site try to always put above real numbers for X1/X360 and them stealth edit. But them the LTD would always see strange not moving at all.

There's no agenda, just some people taking the numbers that VGC give too seriously and then being shocked when they are wrong :D. They do the best they can but don't ever rely on them.

If it's the best they can, better to find an other job because they are really lame at this, it's Pachter level

Personally I dont give too hoots if they are wrong, it's funny seeing people defending the numbers and then getting to the real numbers. I come here for the general sales discussion, which if far more interesting. Also the do collate and update when the sales are announced, so overall we then do get a more accurate historical website, which can be useful
