Does MS have BC on the Xbox one or is this present on the Wii U too?

Also on a $400 console system with a very expensive GPU?

what next do you want, a gold bar with every pre-orders?

The WiiU has BC and its the cheapest console...

it is also the weakest console with the least amount of secondary software, your point?

My point is that if Sony really cares so much about people getting to experience their previous games, then BC would do just that. Also whats the point of PSNow if theyre going to remaster them anyway...?

Well they did, it was called the PS3. Turns out people care more about a cheap price point then backwards compatibility cause the PS3 got torn to shreds while it was BC.

PSNow is ultimately going to be bringing PS title streaming to not just consoles, but TVs, tablets, smartphones, etc... negating the need for dedicated gaming hardware. It's not even close to the same thing as BC on a PS4.

Seriously, you don't even seem to be thinking before you bring forth your arguments. No offense. Your answer is a $500+ PS4 with BC so someone can pay $40 for TLOU instead of $50 for TLOUR w/ all DLC & upgrades.

I would pay more for a PS4 with BC. Its a great feature that makes it easier for me to upgrade to their next console.

I already have TLOU on PS3, so I would save 50$...

You would, but the majority would not be so inclined to spend $500 on a console. Just use the XBone and PS3 at $500+ as a reference point.

I had TLOU on PS3 as well, but I never got around to beating it, so I traded to Gamestop and got the PS4 version for $25. Considering I never bought the DLC either ($20 pass I believe), it only cost me $5 extra to get a much superior version.

You can still get that discount today if you wish.

I bought it the day after release. Still havent gotten a PS4...

Getting tired of this, if you dont like don't buy! You already played it? Don't buy it, think its too expensive dont buy it. So simple... I am sure there is enough demand for this remaster to warrant its release and this is the only thing that matters if it sells then it deserves to exist.

I double dipped, why? Because i have disposable income and i really enjoyed the game.

This goes for any game if you dont like it, vote with your wallet, if it still happens it mean you are a minority deal with it.

TLOUR is not for people who bought it on ps3.

and if so, i see no problem. lots of games have a GOTY/ultimate edition, and i didnt see anybody complaining more about them than TLOU.

Yeah sure. If you feel like it.doesn't seem small improvements but ok 2x the pixels and framerates, and the models/textures enhancements for basically the same price of TLOU on ps3 is terrible value. Have all games dropped to 20 dollars a year late? Most launch games of PS4 are above 40 right now. But okay if you want to cherrypick conditions for a remaster to be good and others shouldn't even exist.

I've never said it shouldn't exist. I'm saying it's currently inferior to MCC in terms of value and improvement and that's why people are complaining about one and not the other. There's no subjectivity there, it's hard fact.

Are you really dense enough to believe it took more effort to upgrade TLoU, an HD game itself, to HD for a new console, than it took to make similar upgrades to the original Halo alone? On top of that, there's 4 games, all with full add-on content, and access to the Halo 5 beta. It's not even remotely ****ing close to compare the two.

Value is subjective and I won't discuss this. Regarding the effort yes Halo MCC probably took more but I don't remember a lot of people praising Sly remaster and all others so this aint defense to praise Halo and criticize TLOUR. And when people start complaining about Halo you won't say it's because of lack of value or effort I'm sure.

Irrelevant.

If people buy it then it must not be considered overpriced.

What you view something as is not always what it really is. As I said, the market dictates if something is overpriced.

iPhones for example. People keep saying they are overprices, yet the sell 10's of millions a month, so it must be fairly priced.

When PS3 first came out people thought it was overpriced. Guess what happened? It didn't sell.

That's how it works.

Its usually on the same console though. They can release Uncharted 4 80 times on the PS4 for all I care. I just need one.

The OG PS3 was backward compatable and because of that (and various other factors) it was very expensive and we know how that intially turned out.

Also, why cant MS answer this same question? Didnt they remade Halo: Comat Evolved for the 360? So, of the 6 Halo games, 5 are already on the 360. so why re-release the MCC when they could have made the Xbox One BC? Sony makes one remaster and half the gaming world goes to shit about this, yet fail to ask the other side the same exact question.

Lastly, what the hell does PS Now have to with BC on the ps4? you can use the STREAMING SERVICE on all sony electronics including their TVs, so what does that got to do with BC?
