GameCube should've beat XBOX if Bungie didn't release the Halo games and Rare stuck with Nintendo it would've been the other way around.

Oh, you're right about one! The GC did get a lot of hate for different reasons: its kiddy image and lack of focus on online gaming are two of them! :-/

2003 was the GC peak, but i doubt 2014 is the wii U peak.
in 2015 wii U will start to outsell GC and it will achieve it if wii U live longer than GCs.
