Lol i told people this was going to happen, when Sony was going to unify the playstation platform Eco system, they really did mean it. think about the fact is why worry about trying to try to convince gamer's that any AAA game made for the Vita is a Unique experience , when pretty much the majority gamers already see it as a watered down port , and by that those very same people will say why not just play it on the PS3 or the PS4! So So INSTEAD OF TRYING TO DIRECTLY COMPETE WITHIN THE SMARTPHONE DOMINATED MARKET OF HANDHELDS OR DIRECT COMPETE DIRECT IN WITH NINTENDO FOR WHAT SCRAP'S that are left with in the dedicated game handheld space, Sony has shifted the PSVita as a platform as a Micro Game console..thus the Playstation TV..getting rid of the "Vita name" was better for the over all heath of the platform, that does not mean that Sony is not going to support the platform, hell the Playstation Mobile is not tied directly to the PSVita's chipset.

btw. this confirms there is no way for ps3 to reach 100m

last quarter they shipped 3.5m consoles.
nearly 3m should be ps4s to match this
