I'm sure if people were told there was no difference other than the resolution bump, they would have never noticed.

Remember how long people were playing Killzone Shadow Fall online with it supposedly running 1080p@60fps until it was discovered to not be running at full 1080p?  That's how minimal the boost is.  No one noticed, but bragged about it anyways, when infact it was running at 960x1080.

You're very wrong. Most people noticed KZ took an image quality hit going from SP to MP.

Wait, wait, I need the affirmation of some random guys on the internet on whether to buy a game that has 9-10/10s everywhere, but the reality is that it is a locked 48 fps slideshow that would be better off being the only PS4 game to be 720p? Pre order cancelled, I'm off to smash up my PS4, especially as a year away Unchartered is already downgraded to 420p and a constant 16 fps. Where do i sign up to receive my torch and pitchfork?

Framerate is stable so that's all that matters for me, a few slight drops here and there won't hurt my experience.

Well guys, I´ve seen some footage and pics in the NeoGaf thread.

And if those pics are true than I have to say that something is very wrong with ND light solution or they realy have to rush this game or the decision to go 60fps was a mistake.

30fps they are delivering something very close to Ryse but, again, for the light. Killzone is still the best looking PS4 to date.

Why the cherrypicked quotes?

Tempted to get the upgrade, especially since EBGames in Canada is offering a 50% discount if you trade in your PS3 version. Considering I didn't get the DLC for the PS3 version, this makes the deal that much better...

Supposedly Gamestop has the same deal in the US.

Wow. Looks atrocious. Who are they trying to bullshit that they updated the textures? Looks as blurry as the PS3 version. Not even close to the best looking PS4 games.

There are things that I just don't understand - for example take this picture (from dualshockers, surprised they released this pic...)

What the hell went wrong with this shadow? It looks way to blocky...

Apparently they didn't remaster everything. I heard they used better shadows in the 30fps mode though.

Sadly it's much too visible that it's not a game built from the ground up for this gen. Uncharted should look A LOT better than this.

Haven't read the entire thread yet and maybe this was already pointed out, but the article has been updated to show this:

Update 28/7/14 14:35: Yes, improved shadow quality at 30fps is in the game but only once the day one patch has been applied. The EU release rolled out considerably behind the US version, hence the confusion. We'll have more on the update soon.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

Is not obvious? Look who made the thread and check his comments on the game.

OT : I can live with dips in the 48 fps :)

Amazing remaster, amazing game , perfect for people who never played.

it was a rethorical question... we know why it was made and why it was made this way.

Christ people just play the game if you haven't already. It's great.

I can see why people are getting in a tizzy. One of the best dev studios in the world on the 'most powerful console' can't maintain 60fps and razor sharp shadows in a port from the PS3. I get it. But if you want the best graphics, as always, buy a PC. If you have any interest whatsoever in cinematic style games and never played it on PS3, you should get this.
