it looks and plays okay, but its clearly better than watchdogs. its just not complex enough.

How is it not complex enough? I think there are so many more options than in Halo, and we've only played the beta! Not only do you get to choose 1 of 3 classes (that are all very different), but there are tons of armor choices, tons of weapon choices, skill upgrades, and so much more! One of the things in the so much more category is welding (like in TF2), which, again, just opens up so many more possibilities. I just think there is a ton of depth to this game and we could only reach level 8.

the fps aspect feels okay, better than halo, but the rpg element feels mehh. it feels a bit like they duct a bad rpg on a okay halo game.

it just doesnt work for me. a bit more guild wars inspiration would have been great, the skill system would fit realy great

Destiny in my opinion is not interesting and I also find hyrule warriors not interesting does that make me a hater of both games? of course not!

Well the Wii U hate is just them being angry for missing out on another third party, and them claiming it's on PS3/X360 so it should be on Wii U too, completely ignoring how hard third parties get curb stomped by putting games on the Wii U. The X1 hate is the fact that the "Naughty Dog of Microsoft" (Bungie) not only went on to create an even greater game, but it is multiplat, and is now giving special preference to their "enemy". But you knew all that OP, you just wanted to see the lot of them skirt around this truth going on about story being better in Halo, when we hardly have any of the story for Destiny yet, but they can somehow get the complete story and compare the two from the short Beta.

I think you're the one bending the truth here. Not many people have been hating on Destiny. As a Wii U owner, I know that third party companies aren't gonna make games for the Wii U. But that doesn't bother me in the slightest, because I didn't buy a Wii U for third party. No one does. So that argument is invalid. And your second argument is contradictory. You say that Xbox One owners hate it because Bungie went on to create a greater game. Saying that Destiny is a greater game is an opinion of yours, not a fact. But then the next sentence, you say we can't even compare the two because Destiny is in beta! So how the donkeysack does that make sense? Your whole post doesn't make sense.

I didn't say you can't compare the twogames, I'm saying you can't compare the story (there is more to a game than just its story if you were somehow unaware) of a game spanning what, 10 years and 5 games? to one portion of one planet in a games story and saying the game that has been building its story for years has a better story when the majority of the story has been intentionally left out of the Beta makes no sense. And Destiny is a greater game. Ain't no halo without Bungie. Dropping the franchise in the laps of some other studio won't ever bring back the Bungie touch.

There is a Halo with out Bungie and you will get a taste this November. I gurantee you if most people had to choose between Destiny and Halo they would choose to have Halo even with 343 with the torch now. Alot of people feel that  Destiny is not better then Halo and just by reading the replys from people who own all platforms you can see it.  Destiny is a great game that I will put alot of time into but thats only till November when Master Chief Collection releases.  People say huge win for Sony I say huge win for Xbox gamers because they still get Bungie and  Destiny and still have the Halo to look foward to. I love it.

Agreed, people should only be happy that they can play alot of great games this fall. I know personally that I will not play many other games when MCC comes out, but that doesn´t make Destiny a lesser experience, it just makes it a different games. But sadly it feels like some people just desperately wants this to be better than Halo when in relaity, it is better to enjoy both games than focus on which one is better.

What a silly thread. Did you make this thread just to validate what you already believed?

Any guesses?

Well, the Wii U seems easy, its a big game not on Wii U.

XB1 at 1st does not make sense, its on the XB1... ya PS4 gets some minor stuff but nothing that will make XB1 version seem 2nd rate. or... Maybe its the fact they are afraid it if executed like many feel it will be; itwill essential make the one killer app they have in Halo an afterthought? I guess it would be kinda the same way for Sony fans if say, EA or Activision decided to make a driving Sim that is equal or better to Gran Tourismo in every way, I could see sony fans trying to dismissing and build up GT as untouchable....

Just a thought.

Again the key word is Destiny "haters" its fine if you just are not interested in it or are waiting on the final version to make a conclusion about the game. It just seems a little odd to me that certain groups attack the game based on some percieved flaw from the Beta (Vehicles OP!!!, No story-!!!like they are going to reveal the story in a beta...)

Man, there are a lot of people donning tin foil hats to try and rationalize why someone might not be impressed with the Destiny beta. Weird that the universal conspiracy theory by these people is you must have motives that originate in console warz in order to have a negative impression of the game. And strangely, they all seem to be PS4 devotees. What an interesting situation. Please make solving this mystery the subject of your next thread.

I totally agree. I'm not really sure I understand the point of this thread.

I bet the Wii U would sell more than 15M LTD by the end of 2015. He bet it would sell less. I lost.

lolz, ok.

Also, correct grammar for title: Why does it seem most Destiny Haters are XB1 and WiiU Devotees?

Current Consoles: Gaming PC, Wii U, 3DS

As a mmo player who loves character building /  progression I totally agree with you. The character progression system is the #1 thing I like about Destiny.

same reason, why all titanfall hates are ps4 devoteers

simple logic
