Um, I see no reason that Destiny's final version pvp multiplayer wont be as good as Halo. I mean its the same company that made the good Halos. I for one had a blast for about 3 straight hours playing co-op story mode missions with my brother (who lives 6 time zones away).

We had headsets and I was playing Titan and he was Hunter, its was tons of fun, when he went to bed I solo'd some of the missions and it was not as fun, but still much more fun than I have playing any recent FPS campaign mode.

I'm still not sure why everyone thinks Destiny PvP is unbalanced. The main reason I'm seeing given is vehicles, which really aren't that hard to destroy (turrets, sniper headshot to the driver, super ability). Is there any other reason people think it's unbalanced?



I bet the Wii U would sell more than 15M LTD by the end of 2015. He bet it would sell less. I lost.

Destiny PvP is not even remotely as good as Halo's, judging by the beta. I've played it for probably around 24 hours now (most of it in PvP since there's not much else to do once u level cap), and Destiny is ridiculously unbalanced in a number of ways. It can still be quite fun when played with a group of friends, but it's nowhere near Halo

89 Games
10915 Kills
1d 16h 54m 39s play time.

i'd say 30 hours of that were in explore or story mode.

I wish you could see who voted what so I'd know which 40+ people who voted Destiny has better story so I'd know never to take them seriously again. Say what you want about the gameplay, PvP, etc of Destiny, the store is extremely bare bones in the beta and what they do give you is surprisingly shitty, and told through some of the worst voice acting ever. I would expect a better sci fi story and acting from some cheap SyFy movie starring Carmen Electra and Brooke Hogan.

Others are right when they say the MP is an unbalanced mess in Destiny. And others yet are right when they say "hey its just a beta". But we can only judge what they have allowed us to play so far and for some reason they gave us a morsel of the PvP that is not balanced well and not much fun to play imho.

Halo's MP is a lot better than destiny's MP. Destiny is using an MMO format so its not surprising that its going to have balancing problems. a bit of a bold statement considering there's only 1 map in the beta with vehicles.

but i get what you mean for that map specifically.

I know that map well, which is why I tend to stay inside buildings when playing on it.

Halo is way better than destiny. The co op in destiny is solid but the PvP is just awful.
