It will probably happean any week from now.
Wii U will stay in last for the race of this generation. Cemented that. Xbox One sells below the PS4 worldwide, but the console will have a good market share, especially in English speaking countries (especially UK and USA). Wii U sells poorly anywhere, inside and outside of Japan.
Wii U will have periodic boosts (like in Mario Kart and Smash 4 among others). This type of strategy will be unable to create a continuous momentum. Unfortunately.
I will have to say August was well like others above me. Wii U doesnt have anything in August from my understanding, so sales will drop a bit in NA/EU. But Japan's should go up in August since they're getting Hyrule Warriors

1. It'll beat PS4 and Xbox One in Japan, most likely...
2. Xbox One's strategy also can't do that. Even after Titanfall and an $100 price drop, sales still haven't picked up a whole lot permanantly.
By the way, Wii U also has higher sales in Europe!

Oh, this was a PM? A joke between you and Smeags? Ok, I get it... I think.
On topic, I don't know how close the VGC numbers are to the actual sales figures, but I'd be surprised if Destiny doesn't at least narrow the Wii U's lead. How long it takes for the X1 to catch up is entirely a question of how big the gap actually is.
