You didn't misunderstand.  He meant it exactly as you took it and then laughed so he could say he was joking.  The number of Nintendo fans in this thread splitting hairs to say that Nintendo made more games is laughably sad.  All someone had to do was list contributions to the gaming industry from someone other than Nintendo and they all come out of the woodwork with torches and pitchforks.  

Priceless.

To be fair, the same thing happened in the Nintendo thread. Fanboys on both sides always get worked up over this type of thing.

Crackdown, Blue Dragon, Fable, Ryse (Kinect but still hardcore), Kameo, and 99 nights. AZW beat me to the punch. Also, motion controls =/= a horrible casual game.

Also Demons Souls may not have been made entirely by SONY but the reason why SONY owns the DeS IP is because SCEJ actually contributed in the development of the game, it was both From AND SCEJ that developed said game...


Its just that many of the franchises they have were not made by Sony themselves.

Some games you mentioned failed to reach 1 million units sold and are therefore not popular. Fable while popular is available on pc. As for your last notion while not all motion controlled games are horrible most kinect games on xbox were horrible with very very few exceptions.

And this is why I'm a Sony fan. Some great games, with great memories there. I hope some make a return. Definitely need sequels to Legend of Dragoon, Drakan, and Eye of Judgment (now, that's how you use a camera.)

And I didn't realize that they made War of Monsters. That's a game that begs for a PS4 remake or sequel.
