it's actually mostly Nintendo haters that bitch about Nintendo not making new IP. they just want something to complain about for the sake of complaining not because they want something from Nintendo

me as a Nintendo gamer I am perfectly satisfied with Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Pikmin, Pokemon + more and something new once in a while as those are the games I buy the systems for

A franchise is at least two or more, most of these are just one off games that will never have a sequel and probably didn't sell or rate well if at all.

Also Glory of Heracles is an old series, it didn't start out on the DS.

While I do see your point im curious as to how you view the games insomniac, media molecule and sucker punch made for Sony are labelled. Everyone considers them Sony IPs but the companies were never owned by sony when many of them were made, in fact littlebigplanet was shopped around to Nintendo before Sony gave them the money.

Well, Sony owns the IP in most of those cases. Nintendo did not own the Xenoblade Chronicles IP, that was owned soley by Monolith Soft. I consider Pokemon a first party Nintendo title, even though it is developed by a second party company (Gamefreak), because the IP itself is owned by Nintendo.

I actually don't mind the fact that Nintendo makes new entries in old series, because the franchises are so good and so are the new entries. But it's good to see a list of somewhat recent new IPs, however... I'd take quality over quantity every day, and that list is all about quantity.

Nintendo; make fewer, but better IPs! And continue the ones you already have and haven't used for quite a while. I really love what the did with Kid Icarus. Do more of that!

it's not their studio anyway, doesnt belong to Nintendo, the focus of the studio is for Nintendo, the money comes from nintendo, but they don't own them, as you can see in the list of wiki, they even made a game for PS (click medic)
