Nah, they own it. You can look up the shares holders, majority is Nintendo.

it's not their studio anyway, doesnt belong to Nintendo, the focus of the studio is for Nintendo, the money comes from nintendo, but they don't own them, as you can see in the list of wiki, they even made a game for PS (click medic)
