Sorry, but the Mario Kart 8 release is a one time thing. The real test is whether it will hold onto these good numbers. The XBox One is already starting to pull ahead of the Wii U this month....

Although there is one possibility I can think of. After the horrible sales of the past year, Nintendo lowered production of Wii U's and are now selling out at only 60 000 a week. This would be good news as it would mean that Nintendo only has to ramp up production.

I find funny how people idolise the PS4 sales when currently they're just "normal" at best. The others that are doing poorly. It had a brilliant start, but now it's sales are on normal levels, consoles Like Wii and PS2 managed to hit much better numbers even on this time of the year.

 Also, congrats to 3DS, like you said, it's 4 years old and still manages to top the global charts.



I must disagree. Ps4 numbers are amazing for the fact that there aren't many games out for it. I think starting this fall the numbers will be insane but only time will tell. The wiiu and x1 numbers are pretty sad


This is not amazing. The Wii was selling 300-500k a week by this time...yeah, almost what the PS4 did in a month. The PS2 was the same way is not more. Amazing would be if it was hititng around 1 mil consoles a month. This is moderate at best.
