Smash Bros for Wii U comes with a large selection of characters to play! (all characters require the associated amiibo to unlock 1 amiibo included).

lol That would be terrible.

I would lead a rebellion towards Nintendo on how greedy they are if this were to happen. Whos with me?!!!!! Okay I would still probably buy every Nintendo game that catch my eye as welk as amiibo and Smash but that is not the point. The point is....... SSBU may release Nov. 21ST!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know that isn't what's supposed to happen but the reason that the figures sell so well for Skylander's and Disney Infinity is that you need the figures to play the associated character.  Will these figures really sell if you don't need them to play the character? why not just buy a normal Nintendo figure for less.

People would like to collect them. Also it is made by Nintendo not by another company. Third you can save movesets on it and take it to a friends house and have an amiibo battle. Last but not least, there are awesome!!!!!

I think Nintendo needs to offer up an Amiibo house to store these toys in, too. Hyrule Castle, Peach's Castle, Mother Brain's lair. Would be cool if the house had some interactivity in it as well to show your stats on each of the characters. Nintendo could really go big with this one.

They will work on future titles as well. Theyre not just bound to one franchise.

It's the collection that matters. When are you ever going to get the villager as a toy? You've gotta think about these things.

Something I wrote is the first hit when I search amiibo on google lmao.

Sounds fairly likely. Good way to get people hooked.

They should have a Super Smash Bros. Wii U hardware bundle with two Amiibo starters too for the holiday as well.

That's a plan not a guarentee at least in the long term (holiday 2015 games) if they don't sell to expectations.

For being a skylander's rival they just don't seem to have the same hook to get that 'I NEED THIS' feeling.

After all the 2011 skylanders figures work with 3 current games and a 4th coming so people still buy those older character today because they need to, too play as those characters in the new games.

If you don't need the figures to play as the characters they just won't be as essential.

Do you really think lots of people will buy the figures of Little Mac, Villiger or Wii Fit Trainer otherwise?

They should have a Mario, Link and Pikachu Amiibo with it.

Sounds real. Hopefully is an important amiibo and not some unknown figurine.
