I don't think the 60fps would be used on cutscenes. What I see usually on games is gameplay at 60 fps and cutscenes locked in 30fps to avoid that horrible soap opera effect.

Cutscenes are remastered just like the game - 1080p/60fps. From the polygon preview it seems like the 30fps limiter works for the cutscenes as well.
So it is happening...PS4 preorder.
Greatness Awaits!

Positive previews?!? I can't believe it.

From the Polygon articles "looks to be the definitive version of one of the best games of 2013."
Didn't they give TLOU a 7.5? Different authors of course, but it still gave me a chuckle.
Honestly i think the game will still have drops, but nothing to cry home about (witch some people still will) The game will probably be 60fps 97% of time with drops to 55-59fps, anyways we will wait for DF
None of the console call of dutys were truly 'locked' 60fps yet they are still regarded as 60fps games
Again this isn't a bad thing/not hating on ND
It's probably going to be 59 fps. So disappointing.

more screens. How sharp it looks.

You're right, but because of the fact that they're shot with a camera, there's motion blur. So 30 FPS feels more like 60 when it's live-action, and 24 feels more like 30. Games don't have motion blur, so 30 feels noticeably jerkier than 30 film does.

I had to google this idiom but I still don't get your point.
