it is for the game I think it will get lucky and sell 5m lifetime

I remember the days when I woke with a smile and walked through these forums, unhampered by the darkness around me, but alas, those days are long past. The nights have grown long and the light inside me has grown dim. Your optimism is refreshing in this land of doomsayers and darkness. Don't let these dark times deter you from the light in your heart :P

Well I don't but so far, it seems like a smaller title than a full AAA game. It could change but obviously I am basing it based on the info I have now

I'm hoping it comes out and has this super serious tone like Battlefield to spoof games like that.

Nahh, at least I will buy Splatoon if its at the right price but I wouldn't even go near Battlefield and cod even if they offered free pancakes

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

Not really all that well. I doubt it will cross 1 million. However, I think Nintendo will be pleased if it gets anywhere near that. This doesn't seem to be a big investment. My own prediction would be something like 750k.

i'd say it'll be lucky to break 1.5m, people are massively overestimating this.

Well it wouldn't break my heart if it were nothing like those games either. Lol.

Depends on the price... If its < $30, then yea, but if its a full priced game, then no

Your kidding right? This game will be more original, with a better story, a whole lot more unique art style, and a lot more interesting gameplay style than call of duty yet it should sell for $30 less? Are you kidding me? It's not an indie game. It's a legit first party game.

Please send me your completed copy of both games when you get a chance. Would love to be able to compare them as well.

I think it'd cross 3 million if it had marines

Being serious I'd say 1.5 million if it has online multiplayer and not just local.

I think around 1.5m.

With the treehouse having everyone on different consoles playing together I think I can definitely say it 100% has online multiplayer. I think it will sell over 2 million out of intrique alone.

I predict that this thread will be resurrected in 2 years time with lots of "lol those predictions were crazy" posts. It does look fun, but that by itself means nothing when it comes to sales success. Knowing Nintendo, they'll barely market it, so no one other than existing Nintendo fans will know it exists, and as a result it'll sell to the vocal but small Wii U fanbase that likes FPS games.
