I don't think it's musou that is driving western interest. I think it's the whole "bringing all of the different Zelda games into one" element that's capturing western interest.

But that's going to be a pretty big force, in my opinion. In North America, the best-selling musou game sold 640,000 copies (Dynasty Warriors 4). Even the weaker Zelda titles typically do around 2 million. Now consider the heavy use of content from Twilight Princess and (probably) Ocarina of Time, each of which sold well over 4 million copies in North America (including GC and Wii for TP, only N64 for OoT). I could honestly see this game managing a healthy 1 million, perhaps even 1.5 million in North America alone.
