Granted, a lot of the games on the wishlist stats won't release for several months or more whereas Hyrule Warriors releases in September. But the fact remains Hyurle Warrors is currently besting great upcoming titles like Far Cry 4, The Last of Us Remaster, Halo Master Chief Collection, Sunset Overdrive as well as all the other key upcoming Wii U releases like Bayonetta 2 and Smash Bros which is surprising to me.
Does it have pre-orders? We should ask for an update. Though I think some hardcore fans are holding out for deluxe preorder packages like the ones in Japan.
All-in-all, Hyrule Warriors is hitting its stride rather well. It might just be the surprise hit of the upcoming fall. Even if it gets mediocre scores on Metacritic, the huge amount of anticipation fans now have for the game may lead them to buy it anyway. Because it's Zelda (sort-of). Because it's Nintendo (sort-of). And heck, the game has come a long way since its initial reveal last December.
Barring the chance the game is a totally broken piece of garbage (very, very unlikely Nintendo would let that happen IMO), I predict Hyrule Warriors does indeed sell no less than 1 million units in its first year. I just might be in betting mood for this one. Any takers?

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

Consoles: 3DS, Wii U, and Vita soon. Super Paper Mario fan.
