I'd say MS - people tend to throw a lot of shit in their direction, but I see them as crucial initiators of modern console hardware designs, in addition to acting as counterbalance to Sony.

Nintendo. They still make amazing games with little to no recognition.

Not talking about main franchises (though calling them kiddy has always been a recurring issue. I bet games like Splatoon and Captain Toad will go under the radar for instance even though both have fresh ideas.

Fresh ideas don't sell. That's exactly why those games won't be recognized by the market.
If they wanted to sell copies they should've slapped Mario on the cover, but apparently they don't.

Nintendo doesn't seem to get much love despite making stellar games like 3D World, A Link Between Worlds and MK8 which is a shame..

Sony cause it's the only good one.

Sony obviously. The one and only who still knows what console gaming is all about.
Nintendo is recycling their mascots over and over and over and over... No new IPs, no different art styles, visual boredom, lagging behind technically, bragging about innovation that has no use and no significant lasting value, all in all a one way route, similar to the long forgotten vhs video game consoles. Their inflexibility is their downfall, it is as simple as that.
Microsoft shouldn't be in the console business at all.
