I think it was the day three years into the future when the system was set up (or a randomly picked date about three years into the future), so it's merely a placeholder date. The permabans don't expire, hence why that specific date remained unchanged over all these years.

However, at one point there were some server issues that unbanned all people. Instead of going through the trouble to permaban everyone again, ioi simply announced that everyone would get another chance. Not that many people would have returned anyway after getting permabanned months or even years before that incident.

Is this an actual thing that can happen, or are you just playing with my heart? Conegamer as a mod is not good for the site, if there is a recall option I would like to know about it.
