The permabans don't expire, hence why that specific date remained unchanged over all these years. However, at one point there were some server issues that unbanned all people. Instead of going through the trouble to permaban everyone again, ioi simply announced that everyone would get another chance. Not that many people would have returned anyway after getting permabanned months or even years before that incident. |
