I'll wait for more info, although it isn't available on Amazon.com (from Amazon themselves) or GameStop.com either (Only the pre order for a borderlands 2 model is up) None on Walmart.com either hmmmm this is rather odd. Maybe the PS TV will replace it?

The problem is its at least 4 months away, pretty bad idea if that was the case :0

Vita did sell 55k, but is it really suppy restraint? FIND OUT NEXT O.@

Why would they though? It's selling poorly, and has no hype at all. I work at Best Buy part time and I have literally sold zero Vitas. I sell more Wiis than Vitas. As in the original Wii. Why should my store (or any other retail store) stock the Vita when it's not selling? I'd rather that shelf space be used for PlayStation 3 and 4 merchandise...

It's best for Sony just to discontinue the Vita...

This is probably nothing, but if it's true it really shakes my faith in the PS brand. What will Sony do if one of their home consoles doesn't sell well?

8th gen predictions. (made early 2014)
PS4: 60-65m
WiiU: 30-35m
X1: 30-35m
3DS: 80-85m
PSV: 15-20m

It's nothing to worry about. Vita was never really a priority for Sony. In fact I am surprised they even made it. The PS3 sold poorly as well for a while, but Sony cares a LOT more about home consoles than handhelds, so the PS3 was able to turn around.

Why would discontinuing or SIGNIFICANTLY reducing shipments shake your faith in the brand?

OMG, sales must have EXPLODED, and Sony wasn't ready with more stock. 150K for June confirmed!!

Do something Sony!!!

I dont want the mobile market to replace dedicated handhelds or Nintendo to have no competition...

Its interesting watching the PS brand. The PS4 has come out flying but has slowed down heavily. Already sub 100k WW and with contraction bound to happen in the console business its troubling.

Also, the PS3 has dropped out a lot faster than anyone expected. It won't have the longeivety of the PS2 and will barely crawl to the 10year landmark. The PS2 sold 50million+ since the release of the PS3 and the PS3 isn't gonna come close to that.

Doomz Just port those Vita exclusives to PS4 Uncharted Golden Abyss,Killzone Mercenary,Gravity Rush,Soul Sacrifice etc...

The Best Buy I work with hadn't gotten any Vitas from about March to May which I figured was to prepare for the 2000. We got in about 10 of those, sold through them somewhat quickly, and then never got any more.

Because it's being dropped like a rock. The PS3 never did this poorly so it isn't a great comparison. At least when you buy a Nintendo console, you can be sure that even if it sells poorly they will still pour their heart and soul into it. Minus the Virtual Boy of course, but that thing sold way way worse than the Vita.
