I doubt that Nintendo would sink more money in this game, I think that it has changed engines twice already.

To me, aiming for UE4 probably should have been the target for Devil's Third from the get-go once Nintendo nailed exclusivity which was probably several months ago by my guess. Maybe it's too late for this game, but maybe not another... |
Yes, but 3rd party are not going to care about the WiiU, no matter if it runs UE4 or UE99Xtreme Ultimate Realism, if their games don't make a profit. Look at all those games that appear on PS360 PS4/XBone, if they can run in last-gen consoles they could run on WiiU, but developers won't port it because of the fear of not making enough profit. Should they try to put UE4 on next games? Yes, they must try, no excuse. But that is not going to move the developers.
I hope this game sells well, so the system gets more support.

Nope. I also remember reading an interview where one of the devs said they were using a 'heavily modified' version of UE3.
UE4 to me seems like a misfire outside of the tech demos. Also, UE3 natively supports Wii U which would make life a whole lot easier for Valhalla.
If graphics are that important to you, blame the devs. The Wii U could pump out some impressive visuals (at 720p) if someone really put the time and money behind it.
After what Epic did, I'm pretty sure that nintendo are not willing to go after then. They grabed support from the one that atleast are tryng to support in someway, like crytek and unity, But Epic put out pretty clear what they think of WiiU:

Nintendo can count with the indies, but that about it. Everything else is lost at this point.
"Hardware design isn’t about making the most powerful thing you can.
Today most hardware design is left to other companies, but when you make hardware without taking into account the needs of the eventual software developers, you end up with bloated hardware full of pointless excess. From the outset one must consider design from both a hardware and software perspective."

3rd party cant put time and money behind it because there is no confidence that their game sells enough to break in. Even nintendo dont do that on new IP's and take risk as they rely on established IP's more and going towards cartoon visuals for the art style in almost every game instead of putting effortts on more realistic graphics.
So, Feel Emotions, Experience Adventure/Action, Challenge Game, Solve puzzles and Have fun.
PlayStation is about all-round "New experiences" using new IP's to provide great diversity for everyone.
Xbox is always about Online and Shooting.
Nintendo is always about Fun games and milking IP's.
It has my interest no matter the graphics... The fighting style looks awesome

My guess is that it will be be polished up considerably by the time its released, it looks like its going to be a fun game, day one for me.
This again? Really?
Pay attention to what has been occurring. It started out as a ps3/360 game, and got shelved when THQ went bankrupt. Nintendo picked it up, and they had to make the game for yet another console, changing the code to match the hardware.
How good do you people expect a game with less than a year of development on the wii u to look? Calm down and think for a minute.

Can you explain why to me? Other than graphics, I don't see what could really be wrong with game. Being very sincere here.
I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016
