Thanks to this thread I'm playing GT6 again every day. Still addictive as ever, golded all the new seasonal events and back into online racing, where you go from first to last... My skills need some brushing up, well more like pick the right car and tune it beyond the simple settings. (I don't know my toe from my camber, that stuff is not for me)

I rather race with stock cars, level playing field. Too many cars, too many options, too many people tuning cars. At least when you come in last you don't have to wait as long for the next race :) And you avoid all the bickering of who pushed who of the track.

Yeeeeah, I don't like like having standard cars in GT7 so I won't use them.

Yeah Forza 5 started out pretty weak but with the cars they added so far they are setting a nice foundation for the next title. 

Actually I think the handling in 5 is more realistic that being said its a skipable title if your not a huge Forza fan.  Horizon 2 should be more fun and will be my main X1 racer once it launches in late September still will probably play 5 once in a while since I'm still playing 4 on a semi regular basis also.

as long as they avoid bs day one dlc car packs then yahh they are heading for potentialy being the and i cant even beleive ME I is sayign that.  but they might officialy over throw Gt as king of sims.  

I suppose Turn 10 wanted to make everything consistant. Forza 5 took the heat, but at the same time paved the way for a excellent base to build upon with F6. No gen 6/7 models. I can respect that. As what happened with those GT5 commercials, I think Sony is more concerned with the marketing bullet point of 1000+ cars more then anything.

I'm sure that Forza 6 will have a day one car pack or one very close to lauch but it will also launch with a lot more cars then 5 over 400 is pretty much doable.  Also I'm hoping we will get at least one more car class back splitting the D class in into E and D would make a lot of sense.  Of course I also want more tracks a day and night cyle and at least rain when it comes to weather effects and the online lobbies need to be fixed especially for the monthly edurance races.

Not trying to hate on GT but that 1000+ cars bullet point is pretty much misleading since there are tons of duplicate cars in both 5 and 6.

I will never buy gt7 if it has standard cars, Il check out project cars instead thanks!

The main guy from inside sim racing like Forza 5 a lot more then GT6.  He gave Forza 5 a 9/10 (a bit to high in my opionion) and GT 6 a 7/10 (a bit to low even though I haven't played it yet).
