Forums - Gaming - I'm thinking about getting a PS4. I have questions.

Honestly, just get the damn console... Don't think about it :-p You want the white one and it may not be around a year from now... So it seems pretty straight forward.

I am selling mine and getting the white one myself.

On PS+ the Value is absolutely insane! I know you don't seem to see the value in it, but trust me it's there. Wait for a Black Friday sale and pick up a 1 year card for $30... I did last November and I grabbed two! $60 and two years. Already the games I have played have more than made up the cost. This Black Friday I am going to get two more and be good until 2017... I understand why Sony did it, it's not because of the business model... It's simple, it costs money to run the PSN. At least we are not stuck behind a paywall like Xbox users (though I am aware that is changing). Whatever your hang up is, get over it... You're truly missing out on the best value in gaming!

Anyway, whatever you decide I hope it works out.

Yeah I want the white PS4 also, but now that I think about it there isn't much point in doing so since I already have a PS4. Also I plan on getting Destiny on Xbone. Guess I'll go cancel my pre order tomorrow :P

Well you made the point about Nintendo's controllers, until this gen they always had the best one IMO (Wii is tricky because it is love or hate) but the Wii U Controller does not work well at all IMO, and the PS4 controller great (Biggest jump between Sony Console in quality by far).

IMO FF14 is warrants a PS4 purchase. I have a copy for PC and PS4 and have not touched PC version for over a month.



End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

Btw God Of War IV is my most anticipated PS4 exclusive as well :)


That's the think though. I care more about the third party than the first party, because to someone with only a Wii U, all third party is basically an exclusive.

I did. That was when they talked about TV for like half an hour. Then no news site talked about the game. Just the movie.

Makes me sad. The movie and game were announced together with the PR line "and we're remaking the first Rachet and Clank with the high quality visuals you'd expect from top PS4 software". I can understand why people tuned them out because they're disinterested in the middle.

The Witcher 3, KH3, FF15, and now both Bloodborn and that Ratchet and Clank reboot/remake/whatever it is.
