Well you made the point about Nintendo's controllers, until this gen they always had the best one IMO (Wii is tricky because it is love or hate) but the Wii U Controller does not work well at all IMO, and the PS4 controller great (Biggest jump between Sony Console in quality by far).
IMO FF14 is warrants a PS4 purchase. I have a copy for PC and PS4 and have not touched PC version for over a month.
End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)
Wii- 72 million 3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases
360- 37 million Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak
PS3- 29 million Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut
