Forums - Sales - UK Charts Week Ending 21 June 2014

So looks like we're going back to status quo, leggy games showing legs and climbing up, Watch Dogs steadily dropping, Mario Kart as well.

Moto GP sold best on PS4, but a flop nevertheless, Bound by Flame oppened higher iirc

So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Greatness Awaits!

I really want that UFC game, the demo was great.

In the UK there have been great bundles with Kinected XBO. The impact of the sku should be bigger in US.

...Let the Sony Domination continue with the PS4...

The popularity of sports games always saddens me...

Sports games are awesome though!

Completely agree.

Unless you are being sarcastic.

A game like Moto GP not getting high on the charts doesn't necessarily mean it's a flop.  It's up 8.4% at launch from 13, they must be making some money if they are continuing to make these games.  I doubt it's that expensive to update each year, same drivers, same tracks, similar bikes etc

Platform Breakdown

PS4 8 Games
XB1 8 Games
Wii U 1 Game
360 13 Games
PS3 8 Games
3DS 2 Games

MK8 still holding on there. I'm happy for it

Tomodachi's doing better than I expected.  Mario Kart's legs are worse than I expected.

Looks like XB1 is seeing a boost because software isn't dropping too harshly. But the resurgence of Titanfall suggests to me, as Sully says, that the Kinect bundle is selling better than anything else still.

I just want to know which out of XB1/PS4 is winning on a weekly basis. PS4 by more than double like VGC says?

Platform splits for UFC:

http://www.gamesindustry.biz/articles/2014-06-23-ea-sports-ufc-is-new-uk-1

"EA acquired the UFC brand from THQ and it's served them well, becoming the publisher's third number one for 2014. 61 per cent of purchasers opted for the PlayStation version of the game, and 39 went for Xbox One."
