Forums - Nintendo - And people claim there's no Wii/Wii U confusion any more...

At my local EB in Melbourne: (Not my photo, and a few weeks ago, but the sign is still there, at least it was yesterday)

People are idiots. Nice to see them getting a sign, poor bastards...

Well, there's always the stupid people.

I once heard someone ask for Mario on the PS3...

At least the store knows that there is a difference

Haha yeah when I was buying MK8 someone asked if it would work.on there Wii.
My aunty also asked.me if the blue cased games would.work on her Wii.
WiiU was the worst fucking name they could have given *waits for suggestions of worse names*

Around the Network

They need to put this on the commercials.

We are always emphasizing the confusion between Nintendo consoles, but there's confusion about so many products. If the confusion between Wii and Wii U is SO high, Wii consoles should have sold a lot more than previous weeks in stead of Wii U, which isn't happening and also not with 3DS when Mario Kart 7 and 3D Land came out.

You say tomato, I say tomato

"¡Viva la Ñ!"

I don't agree it's the "people" that are idiots. Nintendo had a vastly majority casual fan base who has more important things in life to think about than the difference between the Wii and Wii U.
Nintendo should have simplified this for them.

MS and Sony fan bases could probably name every component in their consoles and argue gigaflops and teraflops all day. This would never be a problem where those two are concerned.

Cant blame average gamers.
