Forums - Sony - Ongoing PS4 shortages resulting in lost sales, Sony admits

Conegamer said:
Hmm, must just be me but I've seen a good few PS4's in the wild in my local stores. Not "loads" but certainly not enough to say there's shortages. Then again the article says it's better in the UK so perhaps it's not the best anecdotal evidence out there.

Still if that is a problem, then it's a good place to be. But something Sony need to sort out ASAP

Dude, read the article before commenting. It  says right in there quoted it is not a problem in the UK. It uses Germany as an example.

They are avaliable here in Brazil...

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

Similarly you could read my post. Namely the highlighted part. Here it is again:

I agree it's not an issue here in the UK as I said in my initial post. But, haven't been to Europe so can't tell there

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

I see PS4 locally, therefore there is no supply shortage in any of the other 71 countries where it is available. Logic!

You're right you did call your own post out as strange.

Looks at recent Europe sales for Wii U and Xb one (excl UK) and wonders if PS4 has been losing sales to last gen machines. Because until MK8 you sure couldn't get much lower numbers for Wii U, or Xb one.

Man.. I swear some folks need to go back to school and retake comprehensive reading.

Looking up shortages is quite possible, and stores do take phone calls. :3

So you're calling european stores to make sure this is correct?

No, I'm just saying it's possible for people to get information about this beyond where their car takes them.
