Lol. Nice that they have enough content for Christmas. But do they have enough consoles too? Probably not. It will be launch all over again.

I appears Sony wanted to fully stock inventory in the US/UK, before the rest of Europe. This makes sense, since that is were the XBox One is selling the best.
Sales are more likely to be lost in the US. In other countries, if you cannot find a PS4, you are more likely to just delay the purchase until you can find one.

Having some stock in the channel does not mean shortages are non existent. Remember these numbers will go up by a couple of hundred procents in the holiday season and they have to build up for that.

You really need to read. Sony was talking about shortages in Europe, not the US and Japan. Basically, Sony overstocked in US and Japan while they understocked in Europe.

It would be selling a bit better if they had enough stock.
I can confirm the continued shortages in Germany. Even Amazon has apparently only 2 in stock at the moment.

most bigger stores here in germany have the ps4 in stock since 2-3 weeks now. (at least online) but even some media markt don't have them in stock locally.
smaller shops still have problems to get a ps4 in stock like hem/expert.
but if you are willing to order online you should have no problems to find one. (amazon)

More than Wii U + XB1 combined.
Most shops nearby here in my city in Sweden have shortages. Out of my 5 closest shops with games only 1 of them had PS4 in stock.
