Forums - Sony - Ongoing PS4 shortages resulting in lost sales, Sony admits

Yeah, don't know about Europe, but in the US here, demand has been met since late march.

If they can't meet demand now, how do they expect to be able to cope during the holidays?

they are having supply issues yet they are releasing a white version.... weird

No White version in Europe, at least outside of UK. And we know they have no problems in UK and US.

Sony needs to stop lying, it getting old. They have shown they can produce 1 million consoles per month, they sold less than 200,00 last month in USA according to NPD and they did not sell 800k elswhere, especially with Japan struggling. If there are still shortages, it is intentional. This sounds just like when they said ps4 was sold out in Japan, when we found out it really wasn't.

I saw the fist PS4's in early May in German stores. They're availabe since then, but usually less than ten consoles, even in big stores.

They can draw some stock back from Canada to redistribute if they'd like then. Every store I go to is overstocked since they increased the price to $449.

oh ok... so europe won't get white version yet.... maybe right in time for holiday 2014

So, they're saying Europe would be even more lop sided if both consoles were equally available? Very curious how fall and holidays play out over there this year.

NA overshipped, Europe undershipped, Japan overshipped

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016
