I don't see a burst of sales during week 1, it's not like people were waiting on a Kinect-free model to buy an XB1 (Those people bought PS4's already). However when Halo 2 and Forza Horizon 2 release we will see bigger boosts now that there is a Kinect-free system.

What pre-orders? Is there a new game that's releasing at the same time of this bundle? Is ANYTHING releasing around the time of this console? So who's going to buy this during week 1?

It will boost sales, but we won't see a dramatic boost now. PS4 is going to continue to dominate XB1 until at least Destiny releases. Heck even WiiU should outsell XB1 for the next while.

Think about that.

ehh gonna lower my prediction to 75k im starting to notice no new hw for xbox one so it should raise it that high might barely beat the wii u last week

its not really ignorant its more opnion he thinks it wont give a big boost i could see that there isnt anything to entice people to get an xbox one now untill the holidays when master chief collection comes out

It's ignorant to think that a lot of people will. Most people who wanted an XB1 already bought one and those who couldn't afford it before aren't exactly going to pre-order a new SKU. There were plenty of sales already.

My point was why isn't 40,000 an option? 100,000+ is an option and that just ridiculous, but the other end of the spetrum isn't? Why couldn't the Poll sale "less then 50,000." I mean the lowest figure is the most voted option, so clearly many agree with me here.

Exactly, once the SKU releases it's going to make weekly sales a touch higher and give a bigger boost once a new game releases (could even be a Multi-platform game), but without the software I don't see a difference in hardware sales.

MS would have been smarter to launch this new SKU when Watch Dogs released and maybe made a bundle.

You gave me a link to someones profile.......and I seriously doubt XB1 > PS4, maybe in USA, but USA is at best 30% the market. Being up on PS4 (which I doubt) would only put XB1 sales at 60,000......

Yes, you have to read the profile. But the second quote is from the May NPD thread so of course he means USA since he works for Gamestop. UK mirrors US so expect it there too.
