It will boost sales, but we won't see a dramatic boost now. PS4 is going to continue to dominate XB1 until at least Destiny releases. Heck even WiiU should outsell XB1 for the next while.

Do you know how pre-orders work? People buy before hand so they can have it sent to their house or just pick it up when it comes out. My issue has nothing to do with PS4 or Wii U. Its you saying it will sell 45k on the week a new SKU comes out. Its ignorant.

It's ignorant to think that a lot of people will. Most people who wanted an XB1 already bought one and those who couldn't afford it before aren't exactly going to pre-order a new SKU. There were plenty of sales already.

My point was why isn't 40,000 an option? 100,000+ is an option and that just ridiculous, but the other end of the spetrum isn't? Why couldn't the Poll sale "less then 50,000." I mean the lowest figure is the most voted option, so clearly many agree with me here.
