How much do you think the price will effect the Xbox One's sales? 100$ surely is a big price drop but that just puts it on par with PS4. Plus, XBO really needs it after last week sales, which were terrible for it.

It isn't a price drop.  You just no longer HAVE to buy Kinect.  I really don't expect much of a sales bump...



Prediction for console Lifetime sales:

Wii:100-120 million, PS3:80-110 million, 360:70-100 million

3DS: 65m, PSV: 22m, Wii U: 18-22m, PS4: 80-120m, X1: 35-55m

I gauruntee the PS5 comes out after only 5-6 years after the launch of the PS4.

Like I said in another thread, I'm going with 80-100k. I think there's a chance it could be more, though.

Sure, but that still isn't a price drop.  Don't expect X1 sales to pick up until it is $300.  That would actually be a fair price.

around 100K for the first week. And thats a really big if depending on europe.

I think the XB1's true problem going forward will be its performance everywhere else. At best it may match PS4 sales in NA, it doesn't help one bit though if it loses woefully everywhere else.

Expect VGC to over-track again though.

Its a bit tricky to predict, as its not a price drop in the traditional sense, but a stripping of features, a bit like when the PS3 removed HDD size, BC and USB ports to cut price early on.
