Same thing happened when XB1 won December NPD too.

When the PS4 was extremely supply constrained? And was only outsold buring 40k during Christmas? Had Sony been able to keep up with demand, it would have demolished the XBone in December, like it did every following month when they were able to do better at meeting demand.

Lol so what are you saying? Is being available in stores good or bad? Because I'm seeing contradicting points from you.

XB1 did so good in December because it was readily available.

XB1 must be doing bad now that the $399 SKU is readily available.

Is the Wii U selling gangbusters because its not available? Or is not being available keeping them from doing that?

So, let's see: XOne sold an average of under 20K in May. Sure, probably because of the announcement. In April, it was around 28K. In March, the month of a price drop and free Titanfall, it did 60K per week.

All of a sudden, just by virtue of losing Kinect, it should skyrocket to 6 figures? I doubt it. I will predict 60K and think I overpredicted.

So with those numbers you're talking about US only then. What about WW?

I'm going to go with 90k

Yes, I was talking about US only.

I don't really think WW the impact will be visible at all, because Kinect bundles are already close to the Kinectless price. I can see this new SKU doing much better in the following months when its price gets retailer discounts.

Idk, a big complaint I heard from people even thought they like what Xbox One offers was that they'll end up paying for something they don't want if they spent more on a Kinect bundle. Now that its gone shouldn't that help some people on the fence during the summer?
