Man, no wonder Sony didn't want Insomniac anymore. 900p/30fps? What a bunch of untalented people. They can't even optimize properly.

I hope they go bankrupt.

God forbid they make an exclusive on PS4 running at 900p30fps =]

Anyone that has played Ryse understands how little importance 900p vs. 1080p plays, and this game looks absolutely gorgeous :).

Will it be a better game if it ran at 1080p? I dont think so. For an open world game and these type of artstyle 900p is perfect.

Would it be a better game at 60fps with its emphasis on fluid and fast paced gameplay?

Same here. 60 fps anyday. Wont mind even if its 720p.

Uh huh. So would it be 720p without the power upgrade?

Did you read the article? Doesn't say a word about Sunset increasing resolution with the extra juice, just some crap about vibrant play space or something. Destiny on the other hand, will supposedly launch at 1080p thanks to the increase.

So basically it would seem Insomniac opted to improve some gameplay/world elements instead of bumping up from 900p to 1080p. I don't think a single soul will mind other than people who weren't going to play the game even if it launched at 4k/120.

This game has really fluid and fast-paced gameplay, it would profit a lot from 60fps.

Ryes makes major concessions to get there including very limited animations, number of enemiesm abd frame rate that drops as low as 18............and 1080p is > 900p no matter what. SO and ryse would look even betetr at 1080p.

You could enlighten me on what those concession were since it still was the best looking launch title :) (in my view ofcourse). Also, doesn´t every game always make concessions? There are limits even to what they can do in Uncharted 4 for example.

As long as 30fps is locked then I don't see the problem.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

You have been told several times now : the gap is indeed getting closer.

Everyone that's saying 60fps seems to be forgetting that this is a open world game and idk of any open world game at 60fps
