If they ban internet on Polish consoles, then how could you ever play Mario Kart Wii online? Also, was the Wii Shop blocked too, so you couldn't buy anything?


I had to create a foreign account, nothing works if I make a Polish one and it really pisses me off. Such treatment makes me not want to throw my money Nintendo's way. They don't deserve any of it, considering just how underdeveloped their service is. These guys are still in the stone age in comparison to Sony and MS.

Also, it makes me sad that you think that it's ok to kill serwers for a game that's "already 6 years old". It's still young to me.

The starcraft servers are still around and that game came out in 1998. Same with every other PC game ever.

They would have had to make new server agreements with Glu moble. From what I heard though is Glu jacks up server prices to 10 times what Gamespy offered their services for. A lot of companies just jumped ship cause why would they pay more than what they paid before for the same services

Are you sure that you can't get it with a Polish account? Because I've went to the Polish site of Nintendo and they are advertising that you get a free game with MK8.

Kurwa! You solved the problem.

The promotion got extended to countries that don't have Club Nintendo yet, such as the Scandinavians or as posted above Poland.

Nintendo created a web page for Poland!! Holy fuck! I am truely shocked! Didn't expect this to happen for years to come! Maybe they'll stop banning Internet in their consoles soon as well!? Wow!! i mean, in early 2014 they were still advertising Wii and DS on their Polish web page, then they took it down for a couple months, but now it's back and it really looks good! And the special offer seems to be valid for Poland as well! Shock!

So now there are only two other big things that Nintendo has to deal with for me. Big one - the account system (I won't ever purchase a game on the current e-shop and its structure makes we hesitant even when it comes to free games) and a trophy system.

But wow, this sure is a plus for Nintendo here. Who knows, maybe now they'll actually introduce Wii U and 3DS to stores in Poland?
